Baracoa

Where to stay:
We don’t have a lot of options in Baracoa cause it’s a little place. But the best options if Rosa’s house and her comfy beds! I don’t have the exact direction, so I add a map! Here goes:

Inside the red square you will find Rosa’s house, ask the natives! The cost is between 20 and 25 CUC

Baracoa is an unknown place, even to Cubans. There aren’t a lot of “cultural” options. If you go to Baracoa is to enjoy the nature and the sea products.
-Yunque de Baracoa: El Yunque (The anvil) is comprised of a base of tufa rock, on which is located a large limestone massif.
In the Anvil, fauna and flora is very diverse but the most representative are birds, with plenty of Tocororo, the Charter Cuba, and the Dove rabicho Cao.
-River Ochun and Yemaya Sea: The tradition says that if you have problems with the love, you can get a bath there and your problems will be solved…tempting!
-Casa Del Chocolate “Chocolate House”: Delicious place were the better Cuban chocolates are made! Located at Maceo y Maraville St.
-Casa de la Trova: Right! Another house of Trova, now in Baracoa. The Casa de la Trova is near Rosa’s house, so ask she how to get there!
-Malecón: If you like Malecones you have the opportunity of seeing it one more time! Located at Malecón Avenue.
Sculpture Cacique Guamá: Baracoa is the only town that have remains of the ancient Cuban cultures. Cacique Guanamá was the chief of the tobas that lived in Cuba. Enjoy it! Located at Coronetes St. (Look at the map!)
Fondo de Bienes Culturales: Walk down just one block for Maraville St. (if you are at “Casa del Chocolate” and discovered de cultural relics of Baracoa at the “Fondo de Bienes Culturales)
Parque Maceo (Maceo Park): A little park where you can lay down and look at the sea! Located at Juración and Matachín St.
